Yi Ding Liu, 79, of Oak brook, formerly of China, passed away peacefully at home Saturday March 22, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 23, 1945 in China; son of Gao Qi Liu and Gao Yin He. After a successful career as a copywriter in China for 30 years, he moved to Oak Brook to be with his son and family. He enjoyed cooking and spending time with friends and family. Yi Ding is survived by his wife of 49 years Baili Sun, a son Yang Liu (Yuan Qu), a grandson Lucas and a brother Yi Ming. Yi Ding is preceded in death by his parents. Per family's wishes, private cremation services will be held.
