Anita Ann Wass (1954 – 2025)
Anita Ann Wass (70) of Oswego, Illinois, entered into paradise on March 13, 2025.
She was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1954 to Salvatore and Waldtraut Oddo (Speer). The middle child of three daughters, she could often be heard laughing and joking with her sisters Sandra Carter, and Carol Scully. Anita was active in her high school band, where she played the clarinet. After high school she attended secretarial school and landed a job at Acme Resin in Forest Park where she would meet her future husband, Steven Wass. Anita loved supporting her church, spoiling her grandchildren, traveling with Steve, building Legos, and bringing too many desserts to any family function. She was an active member of the Aurora Women's Club and proud supporter of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML). Her and Steve shared a wonderful 45 years of marriage, traveling, laughing and adventuring their way across the US and parts of Eur
