Richard (Dick) Charles Dennis was born March 27, 1946, in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Richard Culmer Dennis and Edith Florence Howe. He succumbed to a rare kidney cancer that had metastasized to his bones on March 13, 2025, at the age of 78. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Matthew Dennis. Dick and his wife, Connie, were married July 24, 1982, and were blessed with three children, Amanda Swanson, Ashley (Jeff) Sturdevant, and Matthew Dennis, and three granddaughters, Thea, Sloane, and Willa. His heart overflowed with love and pride for them. Dick was a man of many interests and talents. He grew up learning to fix all sorts of mechanical things, which led to a degree in Industrial Engineering and the eventual building of his business, Midwest Milk/Veal Tech, making milk replacer for calves.
