Joy Gillihan Born: September 28, 1967 Died: March 7, 2025 in Elwood, IL Joy Diane Gillihan, age 57 of Elwood, IL, formerly of Plano, IL, passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025 at her home. She was born on September 28, 1967 the daughter of Lowell and Juanita (Watson) Withrow. Joy was a 1985 graduate of Plano High School, Plano, IL and continued her education earning 2 Master Degrees. She was a Teacher, for 38 years, with the Joliet School District in Joliet, IL. She enjoyed watching her favorite team, the Chicago Cubs, play and then win the World Championship in 2016. Joy was a member of the Elwood Community Church in Elwood, IL. Joy was a loving mother, sister, aunt and great-aunt, who will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.
