Cynthia Rae Evans, age 78 of North Aurora, IL formerly of Big Rock, IL, passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025 at Asbury Gardens Nursing & Rehab in North Aurora, IL. She was born on August 14, 1946 in Sandwich, IL, the first child of Warren and Alvina (Keenan) Parish. Cynthia was united in marriage on July 30, 1966 to Darrel Evans and they spent the next 57 years happily together until his passing on June 22, 2024. She was a longtime and at one time, active member of the English Congregational United Church of Christ in Big Rock, IL. She enjoyed listening to gospel music, including Gaither Vocal Band, Ernie Haase and Signature Sound. Cindy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt who will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.
