William Curtis 'Curt' Johnson Born: October 7, 1942 Died: March 2, 2025 William Curtis "Curt" Johnson, age 82 of Yorkville, IL passed away peacefully at his winter home in Eustis, FL, on Sunday, March 2, 2025. Curt was born in Chicago, IL on October 7, 1942, the son of William J. and Phyllis E. (Landeck) Johnson. He grew up there with his younger sister and brother, attending Morgan Park High School. He graduated in 1962 and attended Wilson Junior college. Afterwards, Mr. Johnson became a proud veteran of the United States Army. Beginning his career at Oak Brook Center, Curt was employed for many years as a stationary engineer in the HVAC industry. He worked his way up to eventually becoming a district manager. Curt married Lois Ann Malinsky on April 15, 1967 and they spent the next 57 years happily together. They built a home and a life in Darien, IL. and had three daughters. The Lord was number One in his life and he and his young family worshiped at St. John's Lutheran church. Work
