Richard "Rich" Humphrey, 65, of Yorkville, IL, passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora. He was born May 10, 1959, in Oklahoma City, OK, the son of Carl and Joyce (Sharp) Humphrey. He married Dolores Pinks on November 9, 1979, in Yorkville, IL. Rich worked at Equipto in Aurora for 16 years. He loved to fish, the great outdoors, being near water, working on vehicles, but most of all spending time with kids, especially his granddaughters. Rich had a heart of gold, he would give anything from the shirt off his back, a warm meal, or his time, however he could help. His greatest joy of all was his family.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Dolores; his children, Chris (Emily) Humphrey and Cassy (Steve) Humphrey; the light of his life, his granddaughters, Annabelle (Efren) and Scarlett; his sisters, Connie (Tom) Pegg and Cindy (Mike) Fleming; his dog, Bubs; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
