She was born on March 16, 1937 in Sioux City, Iowa, the daughter of Carl Serenius and Helen (Johnson) Palmquist. Visitation was held on Saturday, August 10, 2024 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 27 S. Edgelawn Ave., Aurora, IL 60506. Her funeral service followed at 11 a.m. at St. Mark's Lutheran Church. Interment will be at Lincoln Memorial Park at a later date.
