Cleo G. Thorson, age 94, of Plano, IL passed away on Monday, July 1, 2024 at her home. She was born on February 6, 1930 in Aurora, IL the daughter of Ole and Ermal (Rogers) Bromeland. Cleo was united in marriage on December 15, 1951 at the First Lutheran Church in Plano, IL to Mr. Leslie Thorson and they spent the next 64 years happily together until his passing on March 13, 2016. Mrs. Thorson was a longtime member of the First Lutheran Church. She was a hard working and dedicated farmer's wife. Cleo loved sewing and crocheting for many years and crafting many lovely stained glass pieces. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
