Celia Huerta Pérez Celia was born May 9, 1946 in Buena Vista, Michoacán, México to Jesús and Socorro (Pérez) Huerta. She passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at Mercyhealth Hospital and Medical Center-Walworth. Celia could be described by family and friends as hard working, funny, friendly, caring, altruistic, and a great hostess. She loved cooking for people and would always make the effort to find out your favorite dish and have it ready for you when you visit her again. She loved flowers, cooking, caring for her family, and enjoyed traveling to her hometown in Mexico. She enjoyed working at The Abbey Resort for over 30 years, where she made a lot of friends. Her unconditional love for her grandchildren was always evident and admirable.
