Irwin Kenneth Fox Born: August 22, 1934 in Bennington, VT Died: February 29, 2024 in Yorkville, IL Irwin Kenneth "Ken" Fox, resident of Yorkville IL passed away February 29, 2024. Family and friends are invited to attend the internment service at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood IL on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at 12:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be directed to the Fisher House. Ken was born in Bennington Vermont on August 22, 1934 to the late Mildred Crosby and Lavis Allen Fox. He served in the Army, training as an engineer. His time there involved sacrifice later in life of most of his hearing due to training that did not include protection. Following his time in service, he pursued various professions including owning a diner off of Rockefeller Center, taxi driver in New York City, plumbing- which included work on the World Trade Center during its construction.
