William Stanley Patterson Born: January 25, 1935 Died: May 23, 2024 William Stanley Patterson age 89 peacefully passed away at home on Thursday, May 23, 2024. He was born January 25, 1935 in Milo Township, Bureau County, Illinois, the son of Ermet Stanley and Julia (nee Fulk) Patterson. William and Geraldine (nee Friend) were married February 4, 1955, and were happily together for 67 years. Having learned to farm from his father, Bill "Stan" farmed and worked at Caterpillar until he retired in 1990. Bill "Stan" and Gerry spent the next years enjoying bluegrass jams and car shows as members of the Auroraland Auto Restorers Club. His favorite pastime was restoring vintage Fords from bumper to bumper. Bill "Stan" is survived by his children, Janet (Duane) Wolff, Linda (Randy) Harrison, Doris (Tony) Buchner and Vern (Mary) Patterson along with her grandsons Ryan and Jared Harrison and Will (Janelle) and Brad Patterson, and great-grandson Ethan Harrison, sisters Thelma Schaer and Betty Ken
